I need some new tires for my truck and started shopping around. The last 2 sets I've had were Michelin LTX M/S2 255/70R16.
I think I bought my last set 3 or 4 years ago and I got a new free BlueRay DVD player in the deal, all four cost $605.
The CHEAPEST I've found in Paducah, Ky is $735 at Sam's Club. The other place I got my last set wants $799.
I guess 4 years of not having to worry about tires caused me not to pay attention to the prices.

friend of mine has a Cadillac & had to buy a rear tire it was $600 for ONE Michelin pilot - Tires have gotten outrageous my truck & suburban will need tires soon & i cringe to think of that.

Just be glad you don't have 17" wheels. I priced a set of Michelins the other day and they were close to 900.00 a set.

I usually go to Firestone. Last set I got for my Explorer (16") plus high mileage oil change was just over $700. That was about two months ago. I had her price match plus got some type of friends of firestone plan and had a $50 coupon.

I just put tires on my Titan. Walmart was the cheapest and that was still $600+.

My Dodge has 20" tires and I'm looking at the Michelin LTX M/S2...WAS looking at those. At $290 a piece before installation, they can keep them!
