Sometimes they have been there too long or something and the option goes away. If it is still an option, look at the bottom of the box your post is in and the edit button will be the first one in line.

Yeah, ok I see it on my above post. Didn't see it on the one I need to edit though. So the edit option goes away on older posts. That's odd.

Yeah, ok I see it on my above post. Didn't see it on the one I need to edit though. So the edit option goes away on older posts. That's odd.
After 6-8 hours, the edit option goes away....
