I live across the street from a Magnet school and they are being taught just about the same....
I've talked to some of the parents from there and they were not very happy with it either.
They have been taught about global warming AND the forbidden subject.... sexual choices.
Where is the school teaching from when I was in Elementary School?
We never learned about "Its OK to be curious about your sexual choices it's your life" or "The planet is in retaliation for us destroying, that is why the earth is reacting the way it is"
Public and some private schools are screwing with kids these days!
I know these 2 topics because of some of the parents I've seen storm out of the school with their kids and they have told me what some of them are teaching.
