Now that my freezer is almost full and we are on the downhill side of the season, I've started shooting more. During bow season I shoot 3-4 times a week but now I'm shooting everyday again.
Anyone else shoot more as season winds down? Shooting my bow is my #1 hobby these days so when the motivation to hunt every chance I get wanes I guess I shoot more lol

Shooting my bow is just something I do to stay sharp enough to kill deer, not much of a hobby for me so I'm still shooting the same, every couple days and hunting in between.

I shoot as much now during the season than before the season . I like to stay sharp and keep the muscles toned up for the cold weather . I have also caught a lot of tuning issues while practicing during the season . Our bows take alot of abuse going through brush and raising and lowering from the tree stand to the ground . I also just enjoy shooting and trying new accessories . Two years ago I was shooting a target in a foot of snow on a bitter cold day after the season ended , just so I could try out a new release .

I love shooting my bow in the snow!! Since there arent many opportunities to bow hunt in the snow here in TN I love to shoot some arrows when snow is on the ground....next best thing.

I shoot constantly year around so I can stay in form for both hunting and 3D seasons.
