I'm sticking with 2 year old...the only tooth that gives me pause is the first molar on the right side. Some might call it a tweener. The right side shows more wear than the left.

Could be pass-thru. I'd have to say though, I'd truly be amazed. We killed a 4 1/2 last year and he was 15 lbs lighter than this one. This one was another foot longer in body than that 4 1/2. I haven't shot a 2 1/2 in years, and had my scope on one when this one came through. All I saw was a big neck and mass....that was my indicator of a shooter. Also I couldn't imagine a 2 1/2 picking fights with a 4 1/2 or older as much as this one was beat up. A 3 1/2, I might believe. Still though, I truly believe he is a 3 1/2. I will say he is one of the heaviest weighted deer we have killed. They just aren't nearly as big as other locations for whatever reason

If it the body is filled out like a 3 year old, imo that will always be more reliable than the jaw bone.

I would expect more wear on the 4th & 5th molar if he was a 3 1/2 year old, I'm going with 2 1/2 year old... Two clear cusp on the 3rd molar and pretty sharp peaks on the 4th and 5th molar, 2 1/2 year old buck, IMO...
Well after looking a little closer I'm changing my mind, 3 1/2 year old. Clear dentine showing on the lingual crest of the 6th molar.
