Looking for a good comfy chair that is light and quiet for hunting off the ground.

Those $10 bag chairs from Wallyworld are ok for an hour or so but Noisy and heavy.

Any suggestions?

I bought one at Bass Pro that I use and like. Its kinda like the bag chair except it dont have arms on it and it is triangle shaped 3 legs.....I didnt like the bag chair because of like you said and it is hard to get turned if need be.

Got some swivel cushion chairs...quiet and comfortable...I think they were around $20 bucks each last year. Little heavy, but came in a carry bag...they fold up like regular folding chair. Got them from Kmart last year.

Gobbler Lounger from cabelas. Low to ground and leans back a little. Very comfy and ran me around $30 if I remember correctly.

If you are handy at all, get yourself some 5 gallon buckets with lids, go to Lowe's or Home Depot and purchase some lazy susan hardware plates, cut two plywood disks, put the lazy susan together pad the top one and fasten it to the lid.............

Comfy, quiet, 360 deg swivel, easy to move......can't beat'm

Forgot to mention, you can use the bucket to store items in, waterproof also.

I dont have a pic of it now but my lawn chair is awesome, it folds flat like a regular folding chair so it is bulky to carry but lightweight, leans back a little, has arm rests and plenty comfortable for me. Right now it's sitting in the woods. I don't know anything about it, just some old lawn chair my family had that almost got thrown in the trash when I took it for myself. Noisy and bulky to carry but once you are settled in, it's fairly nice. Probably not the most comfortable chair out there, but beats the heck out of those $6 3-legged folding stools, those sink into the ground and are a butt sore.

I've used a low black framed OD color canvas beach chair for the last several years. Keeps me about 4" off the ground and provides back support. This one does not have arms but does have a carry strap. I have no idea where I purchased, but it has served me well.

I use a bag tailgating chair for gun hunting. During bow, I sit on a bucket. The bucket sucks, but that chair is comfy. It's the canvas job with arms and cup holder. It's a little bigger than the cheaper ones. I think it was around $30.
