We have a stainless Marlin 30-30 and have had awesome results with them.. Jacob killed a small buck at 220 yds with that bullet 3 yrs ago.. He was hunting with a buddy of mine and he reluctantly let him take the shot - then was shocked that the deer dropped in its tracks!

I'm getting ready to order a few boxes soon to put back with the rifle... Love em!

I'd say Jacob has killed close to a dozen deer with them and had awesome results..

Grouped great, but shot 3" high on a scope zeroed for CoreLok. Furthermore, I'm really questioning the "high velocity, low mass" principle and killing effects.

Is that the Lever Revolution rifle designed hand-in-hand with the bullets of the same name?

I shoot them in my marlin 336. They are very accurate on paper and I've only shot one deer with a rifle in 8 or nine years and they did the job instantly on a seven point with hollar hunter.
I've never tried to stretch them out at a range but they seem to shoot well. I got plenty of corelokts for back up.

Yes Yes Yes, same story I swapped when they came out shot a big nearly buck on Thanksgiving afternoon at 130 in 2007 it was the biggest seer I've shot at the time. 60 yard shot shot him twice both shots hit. NO blood! I was heartbroken thought. I missed but climbed and continued hunting. I kept replaying it and remember him holding the front leg up so next morn I came back hunted and was gonna swap to back to core locs well I freaking forgot them... shot a 9 pt next morn 30 yards ran 30 yards on to the field died saw it die.got down no blood. I also shot twice at him opened him up both heart and lung shots. no blood even where he laid. well after I got done with him I searched for the buck the day before , followed trail. found blood 100 yards in woods from where I shot him. only bleed for 15 yards and it was blood everywhere on trees and. could see a ten.foot area with blood everywhere where he stood and bedded. never found him. two years later recovered the horns about 100 yards from.last blood. don't risk it shoot core locks. I've shot 30 deer never lost one except the one with the hornady bullets.

just a money gimmick to sell more ammo, if you want to shoot 150 yards+ then why not have a rifle made for longer range? if i am hunting brush/thickets then i am packing for that, i just cant understand why anyone would need to try to improve on something that has worked so well in the past. but to each his own, it is what makes the world go round i reckon

yep agreed. I hunt thick stuff in mornings, sometimes fields in afternoon that's the reason I tried them. hoping to shoot farther if I had to.

I never tried them in my 30/30, coreloks give plenty of knock down and distance and they are cheaper. However, in my 45/70 it's all I will use. Turned it into a different rifle! Gained a 100 yards and haven't had a "runner" yet! They fall, simply just fall over...
