I see many older gentlemen doing this so I was wondering what the twra stance is on a landowner (I'm assuming they are) processing there own deer and not checking it in. Thank you

Yes, I have always wondered if the TWRA stance on this is when it comes to landowners.

In Tennessee you much check in any deer killed, whether a landowner or not. It's in the hunting guide.

Lots of people do this every year; also people hunt that are not legal to do so for several reasons, violations being one of those reasons.
