Looks good. You still going to venture to middle TN public land next spring?

Probably not to Yanahli. I finally got in this club over the summer and it's less than an hour from my house. I am planning on making the trip to hunt with REN and Grizzly again this year. I always have a blast with them. Plus, I will put in for LBL and hopefully kill that elusive bonus bird. I was considering Yanahli before this club lost a member and I got in. You are definitely lucky to have that kind of public land close by.

well if you ever head this way I will show you around, it's good land, some spots are only good early in the season due to the crowd but other spots you can find a bird or two away from hunters. Glad you got on a club that has more birds, and have fun with REN and Griz, I know REN has some bird covered territory.

Thanks for the offer catman. That's very generous. Yes, REN has plenty birds and he is one of the best callers I have ever hunted with. Plus, he's a hoot. Even if he is a bammer fan! Both of those guys are class acts and know their way around the turkey woods.

I am ready for Spring. I have never killed a turkey and plan to do so this comming Spring. I have always been busy fishing during turkey season with my limited days off from work. I had planned to get serious this past Spring about killing a turkey, but a heart attack screwed up my plans. \:\( I will be retired this coming Spring and will have plenty of time to hunt. \:\)

Me too. Love to deer hunt, and really love any kind of hunting, no matter what it is. But turkey hunting is up and beyond everything else.
