What would 2 years in woods do to jawbone?

I've been considering looking for the jawbones from the 170 class skull I picked up in June 2010. The bone pile was mostly all in one place and I know where to find it. If I found the jaw bone(s) do you think they would be too far gone to age?

Not if the teeth are still in it. enamel is the hardest substance in the body.

the main difficulyt is the teeth bleach out and it's harder to tell dentine from enamel.

Exactly. But aging of very old jawbones is possible. Archeologists and paleontologists can age deer from jawbones that have been in the ground for thousands of years.
