I used Hornady Sst saboted slugs in my 835....I would say a 5" Group or better at 100 yds..... I traded off the 835 & still have 5 boxes of the slugs.... Is that carter county tennessee?

Give the Brenneke heavy field magnums a try, I shoot them in my Remmy 1187 Premiere w/Hastings barrel and overlap holes at 125 yds.

I have the same gun but 20 gauge and I shoot Winchester Rifled Slugs Hollow Points. They're 2 3/4" and 3/4 oz. Just got it last year and killed one with it. Made one heck of a hole on both sides.

Assuming you have the Rifled Slug Barrel I shoot the same shotgun. Best slug I have found is the Hornady SST 300 grain sabot slug. Cloverleaf groups at 100.

Shotguns w/rifled barrels are just as finicky as a rifle, and it gets costly in a hurry buying different brands. But, if you want to know what shoots the best out of your gun........it is a necessary evil. I have literally spent hundreds if not a grand on different slugs of my 4 slug rigs I own. And only 2 of them liked the same slug.........lol.
