Does anyone have an experience with this ammo? I slung it through my Marlin .30-30 this past weekend, and was not impressed. I think I'll switch back to CoreLok and be happy with it.

I've got some in the safe but have yet to put it through my rifle. Could you not get them to group?

I'm no expert but I don't think they are a good match for a 30-30. Not a very big hole entry or exit, lost the only deer I shot with one. I went back to the core-lok it has been a proven winner for me.

They are very accurate in my Marlin.I shot a 7pt with them last year at 50yds,and the deer ran probably 50 yds, with a pour blood trail. But im not gonna count them out just yet.I need more hair testing done.

I wouldnt recommend them, my daughter make a killing shot on a buck.. it ran off like it was not even hit.. i walked around where it was and was about to give up and head back and spotted a dime sized drop of blood.. I figured she must have shot it in the leg.. I took off into the woods and found a slight blood trail..finally spotted the deer .. dead as a door nail.. 200 yards away.. she had made a perfect shot.. poor bullet expansion ..no a very big exit would,, but on a side note.. the deer ran straight towards my house and I didnt have to drag it very far!!

I shot the biggest deer that I've ever had a chance to shoot at with this round last year. I hit the deer rightin the chest at about 25 yards. It was the only shot I could get. The deer fell to its knees and turned a flip and ran into the woods never to be found. I found a patch of hair wher the deer was standing when I shot and no blood trail at all I still get sick thinking about it he was a big main frame 8 with a couple really nice kickers.

Shoot them in my Marlin .35 Remington, 200 grain, and love them. Bang Flops on every deer I have shot with them. Average yardage 80-120 on each kill. Now I will say with my 7MM Magnum and Hornady Ballistic Tip ammo and shots inside 40 yards I truly believe they did not expand as I have had 100+ yard recoveries. Perhaps it is the velocity with the 7MM and 150 grain round at close range but I won't use the ballistic tip bullet anymore in that rifle. The Federal Fusion is a different story however for that gun.
