Whats everybody seeing? I went out all last week, Thursday through Sunday, and saw lots of does, fawns, and a few small bucks. Only one small buck was chasing. Trying to gauge what everyone else thinks is going on.

Last week I noticed a good bit of chasing, & a lot more bucks to & from work on Hickory Valley Rd & last Tuesday a 10 pointer crossing Short Tail Springs. Haven't had much time to see it from the woods because of work & I'm down to only 1 spot to hunt since my Uncle's sold their properties on Birchwood Pike.

Well you're not missing much off Birchwood pike. 2 of us hunt 19 acres that 2 yrs ago was full of deer. My cousin has taken a small buck and 2 does this season. I've see 5 doe total since bow season opened. He got the buck a week ago Saturday and said he came in following a young doe.

I had bucks cruising aggressively three weeks ago, but no chasing. Have not gotten to hunt here much since then, but based on those sightings and the fact that Hamilton County usually hits chasing about the opener of gun or a little after, I would guess the activity is pas-peak or winding down by now. But I hope to hunt this evening, so maybe I'll have something to report then.

I've seen chasing since the week before haloween, I really don't understand it but it has been up and down since then. Most of the mature deer at my place I've seen between 11am and 2:30pm. I shot a decent 10pt the day before Thanksgiving at 11am chasing a doe. Good luck

Most of the chasing I saw was the week before Thanksgiving!! Had 5 bucks after one hot doe! I haven't seen much after that, only a few packs of does running together!! I think the peak rut time is over now, but I think there will be a few does that come back in! It's strange but I was at LBL this past weekend and the Rut in in full blown chase up there! Everyone I know that killed a buck, were chasing does!!
