Well this Thanksgiving was a good day! We took 2 bucks and a doe that morning hunting with family in McMinn Co. The best part about it was that it was was my first doe and buck all in one day! Also it was my friend Bryan's first buck as well. I saw the doe coming in through the woods and wasn't going to let her slip through and she dropped quick. Then out of nowhere the small buck came into the field... I thought it was a doe for quite some time, and once I noticed it was a buck I decided to go for the double! Now I will be alittle more selective but Nothing wrong for my first buck

I hunt just northeast of Calhoun off of Bowater Rd in a couple different areas. Lots of deer out there! If you mean Niota exit as in Bowater Rd that goes to Niota then we hunt the same area
