Good Luck Swamphunter....I plan on being back out first thing in the morning. At sunset last night I had a spike walk in on me. He was limping pretty good and his face was beat up. Looked like he just got his butt whipped.

been hunting all week. good news bad news. Still seeing some chasing but also seeing does in large groups and some bucks just feeding and not messing with the does. maybe we are at the tail end. saw 10 does yesterday afternoon all together. no bucks in sight. Saw 18 does this morning and 1 nice buck messing with 2 does for a bit then just followed them into the bedding area. Nice young 6 point this afternoon just walking and feeding and not a care in the world. will see what tomorrow holds. sure there are some hot does around and hopefully they will drag out a big guy to end my season.

5 does, 3 fawns, and 2 small bucks. No chasing this morning. All deer went into the same area and the stand was shuffled into another new spot. From my vantage point this morning I figured out what should be a crackerjack hot spot. I'll pull my climber tomorrow and put up a hangon there. It may not pan out this year but look out next year.

A monstor buck was chasing 2 does at the I40/385 ramp today and my neighborhood 150"er was 4 houses down from me midday today.

I saw 2 little buck chasing a doe on Tuesday morning on the Shelby/Fayette line. Yesterday saw lots of deer movement along 240 and I-40.

This afternoon I saw a mid sized 6 point walking out in the open where I rarely see deer.
I'm hungry and tired. Don't poke my belly.
