Good morning gone bad

What a great morning.
Got up, was going to load the ATV and the throttle cable was frozen.

I moved it out of the way and got ATV #2 and went hunting.

I was cover up with deer from the minute I got in my tree. Popped 2, never got a clean shot at #3. Deer #4 & 5 stayed low where I don't/won't shoot 'em.

Deer #6 was dead in her tracks but the bright morning sun put a glare on my scope so bad I could not see to shoot.

Got down, loaded my deer and then I saw it.

the "V" bracket on my summit has broken away from the main frame.

I'm not sure it's safe to climb with and I cannot weld aluminum.

Two does are home and i'm grounded

Aluminum can be tricky to weld for sure.... May be time for a new stand $\:\)$

I know but Summit doesn't make this stand any more and I LOVE it. I had planned to keep this one as long as I could. Guess I now how long that was now $\:\($

I'm going to contact them but I'm hesitant to do so because this stand is 12 years old.

Summit has excellent customer service and they stand behind their products. But I kind of feel like I'm taking advantage of them if I expect them to repair or replace a 12 year old stand. I've more than gotten my money's worth.

I'd go out right now and just by another one just like it if they were available.
