Is best for looking at the layout of you land? What would yall look for to make a great hunting spot?

if you go to maps.google.com and click satellite in the top right corner (if it is not already on satellite) then you can zoom in on your spot if you know where to look, or enter the address into the search bar to find it. Some areas have a birds-eye view (you can see the sides of buildings and trees) if you zoom in all the way, others do not, just depends on the area and if Google has flown a plane over the area for the birds-eye view. But most satellite imagery is clear enough to tell the fields, hardwoods, cedars, clearcut, creeks, etc. If your area was photographed during the winter then you can really tell the cedar trees because they will be dark green puff balls among the gray hardwoods. Not sure if that's important to you but I do like to hunt around cedar glades sometimes.

just zoom in on your area. the most recent aerial photos i have found. most are 5-10 years old. these were taken this year.
