or should I say blown in. Temps were in the mid - low 30's, but the wind was gusty over 10 mph out of the north. I saw one deer cross the field right at day break with his nose to the ground. Unfortunately I was unable to tell if he was a shooter or not. I stuck with it til nearly 9:00, then couldn't take the wind any longer.

Same here....i sat til about 9:30 til I couldnt take it anymore. My body was warm, my fingers and toes werent. Once GnB responds I hope to maybe pick up a pair of those mucks to take care of my feet problem.

I didn't see deer move til 30 mins after the wind started blowing. For the last hour its been slow

I hunted till 10:00 had on 4 layers top and bottom and a good balaclava on my head. My toes got cold but the rest of me was fine. You have to have clothing that will break that wind. Oh and I didn't see a thing.

Wear real wool when it gets to freezing temps. It will hold in your body heat.

It was the dang wind blowing like a dang freight train. I've never like hunting when the wind is blowing like that.
