Crossbows should be for the handicap only!

Sure, the rut is a GREAT time to hunt if you don't know what you're doing!

if you go to and click satellite in the top right corner (if it is not already on satellite) then you can zoom in on your spot if you know where to look, or enter the address into the search bar to find it. Some areas have a birds-eye view (you can see the sides of buildings and trees) if you zoom in all the way, others do not, just depends on the area and if Google has flown a plane over the area for the birds-eye view. But most satellite imagery is clear enough to tell the fields, hardwoods, cedars, clearcut, creeks, etc. If your area was photographed during the winter then you can really tell the cedar trees because they will be dark green puff balls among the gray hardwoods. Not sure if that's important to you but I do like to hunt around cedar glades sometimes.

Good luck

just zoom in on your area. the most recent aerial photos i have found. most are 5-10 years old. these were taken this year.
experienced hunters know its not just a bushy white tail, its a big middle finger.

nothing makes a fish bigger than almost being caught
