As much as I hate to sell this I have an 1899 savage chambered in the 250 savage the manufacturing date puts it between 1918-1919 I'd like to get $1000.00 for it I can be reached at 6158284377 I can send pics to email or text

Not sure yet but I do believe you can resize 308 brass still not sure haven't done my research in it yet

The 250 savage is the parent case for the 22-250, I'd imagine it would be easiest to resize 22-250 or even 300 savage if you can't find 250 Savage brass. I think that the 308 would be several more steps, if it could even be resized properly.

Heck, you can still purchase factory ammo for 250/3000. Both Winchester and (I think) Remington offer the 100 grain soft point. I've seen some at BPS eariler this year.
I own a Ruger Ultralite in 250/3000 and picked up all the ammo I could find at gunshows for a few years, but it seems to be more available now.
