I don't know the story but it sounds like a lot of good things and people came together.
In early 2011, the g/f of my youngest son was against hunting and in an attempt to change her mind, she agreed for me and my son to take her son hunting when he was older.
This kid has had a rough time and to follow on that, I presented the opportunity to TnDeer and asked for help in getting him a Lifetime License.
Several came through, but about the time the money was in hand, she went back to her old self and refused to let him have the license.
TnDeer contributors then told me to find another child if I could and give it to him/her.
I then asked about the young man in the pics. His Dad was our Church Youth/Music Minister and their oldest had his and Caleb had asked when he would get his Lifetime License. His Dad is an avid hunter. Being young with 2 kids and a 3rd coming (was present for the family pic) made it hard for them to be able to save the money for that.
So I asked TnDeer and got the go ahead and got the license for him.
Then I lost my job and a home followed by bankruptcy. This led to going back out into the hvac field way more and doing things I did not have the health to do at the time. That led to severe health issues.
Through the working every day possible and the extended health issues,we missed a lot of Church.
I finally got back on my feet enough to get back to Church and give it to him and get the pics.
Then my current health issues arose and have had the pics for about 2 months or so now.
So, as stated, finally, they are here.
BTW, shortly after this, the Dad was called to help plant a Church in Hawaii and they are now living there. They will be coming back as often as possible though and Caleb will have a Lifetime License to hunt with his Dad the same as his older brother does.

It began in March 2011. Got the license in June 2011. Presented to him and took the pics in Sept. 2012. He is now 4 years old.
