My cva optima elite will stack them in at 200 yards. I'm shooting 150 grains of the IMR white hots and the 250 shockwaves. Killed a doe this year at 213. Bang flop.

Would go smokeless. I'm tired of looking at pitting no matter how hard I clean.

You could get an Encore smokeless conversion and have the best of both worlds.

I'd go smokeless..If I had it to do over,and I knew my savage 10ml was gonna come with a fluke of a barrel that didn't shoot worth a darn.I would have bought a Reminton 700 muzzy and then put the 45 cal pacnor barrel on it instead of the savage..But smokelss all the way.
