i was given a older summit treestand that has never been used but they dont know what model it is are summit stands marked anywhere? has 2005 on the tag and weighs roughly 30lbs id say

Sounds like a viper classic. They look alot like the viper but quite a bit heavier. They still make them today. Good stands to leave and lock on a tree. I have two of them.

yea after some research it is a viper classic im pretty sure just went and tried it out on a tree and love how stable it feels

it was a huge upgrade from my ole man treestand a little heavier but alot easier to put on a tree in the dark

i love my classic, i haul it all over the mountains, little heavy but after you hunt with it for a little bit you dont even pay any attention to the weight
