What kind did you get Bow.
I have 2 and love them.

The first 1 is the 1 me and my daughter uses to hunt together. I also like the ideal it has 4 orange flaps on each side that you can hide or show.
The second 1 i killed a 6 point out of yesterday. He had no idea i was within 5 miles of him.

What kind did you get Bow. I got an Ameristep backstrap. I almost bought it last month in Georgia but changed my mind. I found it on sale Monday for $50 less and it had a free chair and shooting stick. I am tickled with it. There is room for two people or my big butt and a heater and anything else I can haul.
You men don't know how good you have it. I DO...! We don't look as funny takin' a leak off the stand as you would!!!! LOL True that! Proper positioning and balance takes practice, too.

Bow i don't know for sure but have been told these blinds are very flameable. I bought a little gas bottle type heater for my daughter and scared to put in in there. If you have heard differently let me know.

If you have heard differently let me know. This one is supposedly flame retardant. I will take the Mr. Buddy for heat. It's about the safest heater I've seen. Only the front gets hot and it will shut off if you kick or tilt it.

Bow, if you got the little 3 cornered stool with it, take a folding chair with you instead. You can't sit on those things. Try it for about 10 mins and you will see what I mean.

I think that you will love using a blind. Here are a few things that I have learned about using them.
That's a good tip about the stool thing. A folding chair is the way to go.
Careful with the heater. Experiment a bit before taking one to the woods. You will be surprised at how warm you stay in there. A buddy heater may be overkill. Sunlight will really warm it up.
Do not silhouette yourself by sitting between two open windows. The deer will spot you immediately if you do. Always have the dark background behind you. Also don't sit so that sunlight shines onto you through an open window. Sunlight on your orange vest will make you pratically shine.
Be sure to have your muzzle extended outside the blind when you shoot.
Try to stay awake. That can be difficult when you are warm and cozy in there.
Now get out there and kill a deer!
