Overall sightings have been significantly lower than normal. Our rut seems to be way behind schedule.

They seemed to be hittin it pretty hard up here around clarksville. Was going to let a 5 point go and take down the doe he was with. Shot the doe she went down on the spot and he WOULD NOT leave i stood up and all but physically chased him off and still wouldnt leave. So if he's gonna be that dumb he needed out of gene pool also so he went down also.

I'm extremely happy with my morning hunts since the start of rifle season like I have been all deer season. The afternoons are another story. I have been seeing a good number of deer every morning and several different bucks. Afternoons have been a good time for a nap.

I haven't seen a deer from the stand since gun season started. During bow and muzzle loader season I saw plenty, even my squirrel activity is down.

I just got permission to hunt a spot, and it's the only one i have to hunt. Trails, tracks, rubs, scrapes every where....I've only been in the morning and haven't seen a deer yet. I set my trail cam out where deer are crossing a tree line and on one side there is a small patch of unharvested beans with deer tracks there. 3 days not a single picture.

Can't complain about it slower then normal but to be expected with the temps. At least we are seeing several and having good safe hunts.

Its been a great year. Weather has been best it's been in years. I shot my 3rd buck opening weekend of rifle. Grunted in a 3.5 year old that was cruising. He came in charging. When that happens u know things are right with the universe and the planets are aligned just so. 6 deer all on public grounds. can not complain

Been a good year in Unicoi Co. Ive killed a 4pt. and 8pt. that had a drop tine that got broke off {dang!} and a doe. My buddie has killed a 10 pt. and a 7pt. and a doe. I have saw two monsters during ML season and I'm hoping to put my last tag on one of those brutes. But honestly we have a newbie hunter with us and it would make my season if he could get a kill under his belt.

Seen my first chase last Sunday Only rut activity I've seen so far other than a few scrapes. Went this morning and didn't see anything back out now in hopes of tagging out. This is my first chance to accomplish that goal an If I tag out im gonna go out with a bang it's gotta be a big un.

Negative. Rut is ending and the biggest deer I've seen is a 90" 8 pointer. Shifting into meat mode for the smoker this weekend. No shortage of little bucks and does.

The deer have been plenty scarce where I hunt. Saw a 6-point very early thanksgiving morning. Didn't have a clear shot through the brush so I had to let him pass, otherwise he would have been my first buck ever. Got a doe about 10 minutes later that morning. She was with 4 others.

Opening weekend we saw a lot of movement, but then things slowed down. Movement really picked up again after the temperature change. Had a great second weekend of gun.
