I like to find a small tree or sapling, grab it for balance/support and squat. bad idea! did that and the nice sapling that looked very healthy,broke. my hand caught a broken glass bottle as it hit the ground. numerous stitches later.lesson learned .

Drop the pants and go. Prefer to back up to a tree but it's not a necessity. Through years of experience I can do it about anywhere...and have!

I like to find a log and hang my tail over it. Closest thing to the real thing I guess. Doing wall squats agains a tree works too. Back when I was inexperienced, I squatted down like a catcher and if fell in my pants!
HA! Did you pick it up and throw it like a catcher? 
I thought maybe he would just shake a leg.:)

best case i find one of those stumps with the center rotted out... worst case i back up to a tree and let it go... just please get off the trail before you do it.... i was headed down a hiking trail in tellico mtns and a guy was squated down right in the middle of the trail had to walk around him...

Seriously folks most of us that are at least semi regular can condition our bodies to go before you leave the house.Start Taking some fiber before bed time get up have your coffee and Go before you leave the house.

I dont think I have ever been squirrel hunting and came back home with any underwear on.. I always forget the paper towels and end up cutting my undies off to use a TP.. I was getting dressed one morning..I couldnt find any underwear..I hollered at my wife.. where are my underwear?? she hollers back... IN THE WOODS WHERE YOU LEFT THEM!!
