I usually crawl off into the thickest briar patch covered in poison oak of ivy I can find. If I cant find these conditions, I just hold til' I get home.

I like to find a small tree or sapling, grab it for balance/support and squat.
did that and the nice sapling that looked very healthy,broke. my hand caught a broken glass bottle as it hit the ground. numerous stitches later.lesson learned .

I don't. I hold it until I can get back to camp and use a real john! Honestly, I hate having to drop a deuce in the woods, for whatever reason.

I've shot deer while assuming the position. It did cross my mind that recoil might pose a problem, but it didn't.
