I have been eyeing these for several weeks now and I finally broke down and bought them. I wore them for the first time Saturday morning in 27 degrees and I was as warm and cozy as I would be in my own bed. I had on under armour cold gear with these over that and then my regular camo on top. I actually got too hot walking to my stand and have already decided not to wear them in again. I am headed to Iowa in a week and a half so that really pushed my decision to spend the money. I can't wait to wear these there. In my opinion it is DEFINITLEY worth the money to be warm.

Silk is the best base layer I've ever worn. Good wicking abilites and warm.

Anytime the temps are 25-30 I just wear a cotton base layer (long johns) and a standard shirt/pants. Then I carry my coveralls into the stand putting them on before I climb up. I never get cold and the wicking layer isn't nearly as important as long as you don't get sweaty in the first place. Everyones different and that works fine for me.
