20 years ago I quit gun hunting. Bowhunted only for 15 years. The last 5 years I haven't deer hunted at all. I take my nephew some. Lost my fire. I hope to get back one day. Maybe once I get a permanent job and don't have to worry about paying the mortgage and such. Then I can enjoy the day in a stand and not feel so guilty about being there instead of finding a job.

I bow hunt all season. Been doing it for years. I just don't enjoy hunting with a gun.
I retract my statement. Took a gun for the first time in six yrs because I really wanted to kill a particular buck. Got him today. Story in serious forum.

I enjoy shooting the muzzleloader and rifle. Now I've got my 4 deer for the year I will spend more time now bow hunting for the challenge.

Although I really love bowhunting I do not limit myself to just that.
I try to get out during each season.
