This needs to be public information. No, it doesn't.
I love getting on the Ky website and seeing if anyone that hunts around me has checked one in. Last monday i heard two shots at 10:30 am. The next day i checked and seen where one of the boys who hunts a field west of me checked in a buck and doe.
Another guy who hunts a field North of us shot last sunday. Looked the next day and he checked in a buck.
It takes alot of wondering off my mind from close shots around me to be able to get on there and look at names.
Not trying to start a debate, just telling me opinion on it.

My privacy should not be trumped by someone curiosity. Just my opinion, I understand the open records for gov activities but what I do is privet. I am against open records for a lot of things to include carry permits. I think any gov record that has privet info on it should have the personal info removed.

Sure, there are times I wonder who is shooting what around me. But that doesn't mean my idle curiousity is more important than others' privacy.
Remember, the only reason we check in big game is to prevent over-harvest and increase compliance with bag limits. Hunting, to me, is a very personal and largely private matter. Checking it in already invades that privacy, but to a reasonable degree for a reasonable purpose. Somebody else's curiosity is not a reasonable purpose to vastly expand that invasion of privacy.
