Yall hang it up for the year at the Fort?I have been at LBL most of the last week, missed a decent 10 point with the bow/arrow thing. Ain't had much time to hunt much this year. Good thing is there is always next year(god willing).

It is getting bad .....
1.It is a mess trying to get an area.Line is busy from 930am-11am
2.Just when you think something new will open it goes to squirrel hunters or the 1 or 2 quail hunters. Pretty much been depressing to see the new list come out each time for the past 2 years.
3. The only thing left in some areas is squirrels so you would think squrrel hunters could hunt deer areas that have been opened all year.
4.I Did see quail in 48- might sign up to shoot them soon
5.Roads are tore up bad and full of pot holes with some good ruts.
6. Trash all over the place
No sense in complaining as I dont think anyone cares.
Hopefully they can figure out how to run it better in the near future.

And just a reminder for the guys that can't register a gun and locking up the bow areas....you can bow hunt your old gun areas.

I killed a pretty nice 8pt this morning. Seen 8 does by 8:30 and he came by at 9 checking a scrape.
Hunted 23 all day yesterday and didn't see anything.
JDP, nice seeing you again and thanks for the help checking him in.
