Can you hunt quail from horse back on WMAs that are open to quail hunting?

You will need to check with the Area Manager. Most of the WMAs limit horse back riding to established roads and trails, so it is doubtful that it would be allowed.

Are you asking if you can shoot from the horse? I did not think you were allowed to shot while on the horse? I just looked at the regulations again now can not see that anyplace?

Not to shoot from a horse just follow the dogs with horses.
