I had this happen once last year. A bad hand reloaded round from a friend "the case mushroomed out a little" and wedged in my barrel.

I took some twine wrapped around my bolt and wrapped it around my hand a couple of times and yanked on it pretty hard and the shell came flying out.
I could've gotten a better grip but my scope was in the way so I used twine.

I put it in a vise and tapped the bolt a few times. 3 light times....nothing.

One "Good one" and it flew back and the round flew across the barn.

Looked at the round and didn't see anything odd.

Put it back and and it started to jam again. I tapped the bolt and it came back out.

Got the other round out of my pocket and chambered and ejected it with no problem.

I looked at the stuck round and can see a wear ring near the back of the brass. I think it's been fire sized to a different rifle. I painted the round black and tossed it in a can of miss loads and junk brass.

Thanks ya'll. Love that rifle and didn't want to give up on her yet \:\)

Me too.

Bought this gun a few years ago for my wife and son. Turns out I like it so much I hardly ever shoot my .270 any more.

They would not be happy if I jacked up "Their" gun \:D

I hope you cleaned and lubed the chamber after all that, just in case.

You should know better than to use the word "lube" around crappie luck. \:o
