FINALLY MY 1st DEER & THE STORY TOO

Well, we went this past weekend to Petersburg with my boyfriends brother and his wife. Me and Sheri were in a buddy stand and Phillip was down from us so he could be there too if I got my first deer. When it was almost light a deer walked out and I am sure it was a site to see me trying to get this deer to my left in the scope shooting left handed with Sheri on my left side. We decided that ummmmmm that wasnt gonna work. So I swapped the gun over so I could shoot right handed. Well Sheri kept asking if I had "her" in my scope and I said I do but I think its a he cause there is 1 antler but I dont see another one??? She says I think thats "one horn" ---well by this point mr. one horn is walking in circles and hiding behind a branch then blows and runs away! So I tell sheri---Phillip is over there about to have a stroke cause I have not shot this deer! LOL And so we wait and watch some more. A dow walked out about 125 yards across the field we were hunting. I wanted to shoot left handed so badly because I am left eye dominant. I was practically on my knees aiming and I decided that was just not gonna work. I eased back up and moved the gun over to shoot right handed looking through the scope with my left eye. I aimed, I shot, and the doe just folded and fell where she was standing and didn't move. Sheri about "hugged" me out of the tree stand and screamed out yes!!!! I believe it was a few minutes later when I started breathing again from holding my breath when I pulled the trigger. Meanwhile we remember that Phillip is just down from us. Well come to find out he was watching out behind him when I shot and we scared him just a little LOL!!! He says did she get it? Sheri says naaawwww she missed (completely joking voice) and he believed that I missed.I am sure he was sitting in his stand a little irritated with me for the next hour or so. It was so cold and it was early so we let her lay and kept watching. A couple of fawns showed up and were very curious about the doe. Phillip txt and asked what the fawns were so curious about. We sent back "can you find Christina's deer, they did" and his response "I thought yall said she missed!" We got down not long after and took pics and loaded up. I even helped field dress before going to the processor $\:\)$ It was an awesome day!
