Chambered a round this morning and the bolt felt tight at the end but nothing really hard. But now I can't extract the round. The bolt will not pull out at all.

What to do?

Do you have a bolt lock safety?

Had a buddy with this problem, but it jammed after it was fired. It had a burr in the chamber. We just had to pull on the bolt really hard to get it to come up and back. They're made to withstand alot of pressure, so you can torqure it pretty good without hurting the gun. If you don't trust yourself to do it, take it to a gunsmith.

The bolt can move from it's lock-in position up to where you should be able to pull back on it. But it will not pull out no matter how hard you tug, pull or hit it with your hand.

It feels tight, doesn't move freely like it should.

Fired twice fine this AM, the third round was cursed.

I would fire the live round before I did anything else. After that I would tap on the bolt with a rubber mallet to see if it would open up.

Did you try to tap it back with a rubber mallot with the barrel in a safe direction?

If the locking lug has released, the only thing that could be holding it in is the shell itself.

Are you sure the shell was the right caliber? Wouldn't even ask, but I've already seen a few people this year load the wrong shell.

Yea, it was the right round. I had 4 with me. Fired two, stuck one and have one left.
I just happened to be playing around with them while I drank coffee with AM., lining them up and looking at them. So I know they were all the same.

Normall, I just grab a handful of ammo and hit the door.

My friend wasn't able to get his back. I'm bigger than him by about 50 pounds and was able to get it. It may just take more force, or slowly moving it with a rubber mallot. Hope you get it loose.
