Well, Ive got a twisted sense of humor, but heres what I would do:
I would go into town to a toy store and buy the most realistic looking stuffed animals i could find...maybe a couple of dogs, a cat or two, and of course a monkey.
I would take them home and string them up in the carport like they were waiting to be skinned.
See, heres the thing, you are NEVER going to shut this woman up. Do not try to appease her in any way because it will never be enough. Might as well play it up.

Along the same lines as BlackBelt's suggestion, does anyone have the picture of the Christmas deer hanging from the tree with the red lights hanging down? Someone posted it years ago - you may want to rig one up just like it where she can see.

This is good stuff. If the little dog is yapping, I would definately feed it scraps....that would at least shut it up for a while. Then I would absolutely wait to she is at home where she could watch me butcher my kill wearing nothing but flip flops and a thong!
