Would it be too big for a 13 yr. old boy?
Son's been wanting one to hunt with so I've been looking at something for beginners. Obviously I would draw it for him though.

I pm'd you that it was heavier than most guns and too heavy for most 13 year olds. I then went and picked it up and with the pistol grip it is very stable and I would have to say that the average 13 year old could shoot it well off handed. My 15 year old daughter is holding it right now and she can handle it very well.

I just took another deer on Friday with my Qaud 400. This model is a real tack driver!
A couple of things to do:
tighten up all the allen head bolts and apply a dad of LocTite.
I pulled off the 2 Quad 400 stickers from the sides of the body and the sticker from the quiver. The quiver sticker was expecially reflective.
A put cloth camo tape on the front of the limbs and the top of the quiver.
One last thing, don't laugh: Watch out for scope kiss. I leaned out from my stand to fire a bolt last month. Scope tagged me right between the eyes, had blood running before I knew it. Inattention to detail on my part, but with kids shooting, just remind them
