Had an early thanksgiving atmy mom and dads yesterday didnt get back home till 4:30 so i decided to go sit by the barn anyways. I looked back and seen him and thought he was a big doe then i looked back and he was walking away and noticed the fork horn but couldnt see nothing on the other side. I thought younger deer done went and got whooped lol until he turned and came back towards i noticed how big of body and the big spike horn so i decided to take him. Not a wall hanger by no means but definatley an older deer his hocks wasnt black at all and neck wasnt swelled and it still measured 19 inches behind ears. Going check jaw bone tomorrow to be sure but kind of makes me think some of the older mature deer arent rutting hard yet seeing how all we have seen is small bucks chasing.Not good on uploading pics but could email some to someone if they wanted to post thanks!
