I haven't seen as much movement as I did this time last year. I think they are just now getting going on the properties I hunt. all of muzzle loader season was groups of doe with no bucks in sight.

I finally seen three bucks chasing a doe. The buck in front was a monster. Couldn't get him to stop. Overall I have only seen three other bucks and one doe all season. The only shooter was the one I couldn't get to stop. I'm hunting near short mountain.

so am I and i have seen no does and single bucks just cruising no chasing.

Any of yall hunt near Sycamore Creek and Stotler Lane? We have seen a 4 pt cruising with nose sniffing hard and a few does alone. Other than that..nothing. Oh..and a couple loud mouth dirt bike riding punks yelling and screaming coming thru.

I hunted the other morning and only saw two does. No bucks behind them. Hunted yesterday afternoon and didn't see a thing. I wonder when the rut is gonna kick in full gear

My son killed a 7 point this morning in the East Side area, he was chasing a doe and growling. KAC processing said he had 16 deer come in Thanksgiving morning with plenty of big bucks and bucks chasing stories. I'd say, stay in the woods as much as you can.

Im off jim cummings hwy. Got s nice eight point 11-20. Seen lots of activity two days prior with two grourps of bucks. Got him bout 1hr after day break on that day. Been several days since and sightings have fanished except for a few does. Anyone seeing anything anywhere else?

The rut is finally in full swing in the blues hill/short mountain area. I got there late sunday morning and not twenty min later a spike came through chasing a doe full out. Six pointer came behind them about ten min later. I left though cause the game warden just magically showed up. Messes stuff up when they come stomping through.
