They work really, really well. I shot these two at 60 and 250 yards with the 150 grain Hornady BTSP in 308. Both were DRT

Yep, cup-n-cores work well at 308 velocities.

Good to know. I'm shooting the .308 with those also. They seemed to work best in my rifle (Savage Axis).

I've been using the Hornady interlocks in my 30-06 and .243 for many years. You get twice the amount of bullets for the same price as the "premium" bullets and they have always performed very well in my rifles.

Way to go UTG!! Good job. I like the old plain jane interlocks a lot as a hunting bullet.

I handload the flat base Hornady 150 gr. spire point in my .308. I've killed about 20 deer with it and its worked really good. Works good in .30-06 too.

Here's a group I shot with these. I was highly impressed. Shot in 308. Hand loads with 46.9 grains of w748. That's a dime for comparison.

Have never lost a deer with .277 140 GR BTSP Interlocks to my handloads.

Shot a dandy 8 point this year at 401 yards from as verified thru Leopold rangefinder., The bullet struck the chest and travled 3/4 of the way through the deer and the bullet was recovered inside the skin, Text book mushroom with a bit more shank.

IMO they are highly accurate and deadly on game. I might give the SST Intelocks a try next year as they have a slightly better BC then the Soft Points for the longer shot opportunities.

The 162gr BTSP handloads from my buddies 7 mag have killed every deer shot.

They haven't always held up or passed through completely though. Especially on close shots.

Shot a deer at 17yds in the throat patch. Bullet hit the spine and shattered. No pass through but it did destroy the neck so all that was needed to remove the head was to cut the hide and a few muscles.

They group inside 1/2" out of that gun.
