How many people use or have a 280? i am planning on getting one in a tikka t3 this coming off season just trying to get some more info on them.

I've read some things on it they seem like they are crazy flat shooting gun is that what you've seen with it?

I have a Remington Model 700 CDL in 280 REM. It was the CDL special edition rifle a couple of years ago. I have it tucked away in the back of my gun safe and it's going to be a special gift for someone someday. Of course I had to try it out and break in the barrel a bit. Man, it is sweeeeeeet.

I remember someone saying every thing you can say about the 270 you can say about the 280 only better.

I shoot a 270 now my paw paw gave it to me and it's my baby but the stuff I've been reading about the 280 i gotta get one lol

I would Love a Custom made Tactical style rifle in 280 with a fast twist and throated to shoot the 180 Berger bullets,

I shot factory 140gr Core-Lokts out of mine. The 280 REM is supposed to be a dreamy caliber for handloaders (like the 7x57mm Mauser), but I have not tried handloading it yet.

I was planning on shooting the hornady sst out of it that's what i shoot out of my 270 and love them. We reload shot gun shells but never tried our hand at rifle rounds my give it a shot tho. I will have a whole lot of money tied up on it by it's all said and done though. Lol but it'll be worth it for sure
