What is your guys thoughts on this weather? I know it's no awful but in my area the rut as yet really hit and young bucks are just cruising for ladies. To be honest I don't know how to hunt it.

Its warm during the day but if your seeing does and little bucks its just a matter of time before the big boys kick in and start. Id keep hunting the way you are

I don't think I could ask for better weather here. Cold at night and 60's during the day. The deer here are moving and small bucks are chasing. 100% perfectly normal for the time of year and the weather.
Just because you are nto seeing big bucks running does all over the woods, don't blame the weather every time.

I remember when my bride and I got married, and got set up at the hotel that night, and then I said, "You know, it's pretty warm. I'll sleep on the couch and I'll see you in mid-November.

What did you see this weekend redblood
i hunted in wayne county illinois and did not see a single shooter. hunted a couple days in McCracken County KY and saw only one shooter and his rack was broken up. slow up north as well

Hunt the mornings while it's the coolest. The heat will curtail movement but if something should meander by you can't kill him from the couch.
