Hunted BSF this weekend. Saw a doe Saturday without anyone following her. I shot a 6 or 8 pointer today, he was not following. Reason I am not sure of point count is because after 2 miles and three hours of tracking we lost him over a bluff down to the river. We scaled down the bluff and trailed him to a shear wall where we could go no farther. Think he may have crossed the river. Am sick over losing him but we did get to see parts of the area that have probably never been seen by humans before.
