If you were buying a new AR what make would you get? And what caliber .223 or .308?

it all depends on what you want to do with, it,deer hunt the 308 is mo better,plinking home defense 5.56,weight will be more with the 308,i went with 5.56 so the grand kids could learn to shoot with little recoil,both is the best lol

just bought a DPMS 308. also have a couple of 223's.(doublestar and bushmaster). i would recommend any of the 3.

just depends on what you wanna do with it? AR 10 in a 308 is great to deer hunt with buy for plinkin' or home defense I would go with an ar 15 in .223, you can always get another upper like a 300 whisper/acc to close range deer hunt with. big difference in price when you step up to an ar 10

I would go with the 300 blackout but would also make it a SBR and add a suppressor.
but deerkiller said it best - need to know why you want it, what will it be used for, ect...
