I would like to know what everyone is seeing because what Im hearing and what Im seeing is two different stories. Anyone seeing any chasing? Having any luck with grunts or rattlin? I have not seen any chasing but I havent seen that many deer either. Im hunting public land by the way.

I haven't seen much activity on public land, but I saw a buck with a doe off of Murfreesboro Road, she was standing with him so not quite sure what was about to go down.

I saw 2 bucks this morning in Davidson county just cruising no does with them about 9:00.

I have seen chasing when driving to work in the mornings and also watched two bucks fight Tuesday morning in a field in davidson county. But oddly enough no sign what so ever where I'm hunting. I am also hunting public land.
Maybe none of the does have come into heat yet around us. Idk.

Rutherford is the same way. i hear they are chasing but i see bucks cruising by themselves.

I guess the heat map showed davidson county red last weekend, which is highest before peak, and then this weekend it went back down and it never reached peak, but it goes off of reported sightings.

I saw a buck chasing does this morning in a field off of Murfreesboro Rd near where I saw the buck standing with the doe the day before.
