Great tale that brings back a good memory!
20 years ago I was learning how to bow hunt w a dandy Bear Whitetail 2 from a pawn shop. A local archery shop was having a big promotion with contests like shooting a playing card as well as a general drawing, so my wife and son and I went. Several days later I get a call asking if Caleb lived there. Yeah... Can I speak with him? Well that depends what about; he's 3!
Turned out he won the grand prize, a new Alpine Sierra Magnum compound. Me, I won a quiver LOL.
By the way, I was a conscientious dad and kept that bow limbered up for the next 10 years!
