This morning my boy and I decided to go hunting together as I'm a new hunter and he is also, today was his 17th birthday.. So that made it special.
We hunt in Fayette county.. I don't have a 4 wheeler so I've been scouting on foot and walkin which is a pain in the [censored].. After today I need one.. I set up a ground blind by some scrapes I've been seeing and I got lucky today.. Here he comes about 20-25 yds away boom got him, he bucks like a bronco and goes 10-15 yds in a ravine area and there he layed. I wish my son could of got him but he was on my side of the blind and he's never got a deer yet.

Felt a little guilty about that and I told him he was awesome as he always is he told me dad I woulda hafta shoot across ya and I wasn't going to blow your eardrums out, lol. I know the rifle was toward me, just excited bout the deer. Also it was an experience guttin him with my boy, first time and we did good with help from my buddy over the phone.. And also saw this monster while checkin my deer in.. Hope it's ok I post this without the permission of the gentleman..

Here's mine

And the monster I saw..

And the crowd lookin in..

Nice Buck!

Make sure your muzzle is pointed in a safe direction.

Congrats. My first wasnt near that big. And you dont need a 4 wheeler. Get u a deer cart and it makes it much easier.
