I haven't shot a deer with my 270 since I bought my 260. That changed this morning. Both are great guns. Fat 8 point v

Thanks. That's one of the reasons I took him. Perfect broadside shot at 25 yards. That's the entrance side; the exit was just behind the far side elbow. Took out half the heart. People complain about meat loss with Nosler Balistic Tips, but when you avoid shoulders and spine the results are awesome and very little waste.
True waste is when you hit one and can't find it due to poor blood trail.
