I had a very, very crippled spike, that appeared to be the victim of being hit by a car, making his best attempt at chasing a doe very hard yesterday morning—no way he is ever going to get her, but he was doing everything in his power. I normally let the little one's walk, but I was going to put this little guy down, but with his extremely erratic body movements I never had a shot that I was comfortable with taking.

I'm sitting here watching a huge 8-pointer chasing an absolute slathered wet doe in between my house and the neighbors house...to bad I'm not hunting. I'm on the Davidson/Wilson line.

Had to leave the woods early Monday to work on the house. I got to Percy Warner took the right off of old hickory onto 100. There was a very nice main fram 10 chasing a doe all out by the road. I stopped at the parkng area and checked it out with my binocs. He was a very good deer, not as old as the 8 that got hit by a car last week right down the road. What would you give to get in Percy Warner with a bow?!

Yea, summer time seen a 12 point grazing in a residential neighborhood yard. Its crazy, those deer actually get old enough to get big because no one hunts them. I think the rut is insanely unpredictable this year, my buddy seen a nine pt this morning that had a doe on lockdown, this is what i thout was happening after not seeing any deer this weekend, but who the heck knows. Not me i guess
