Was standing in the kitchen last night processing the doe I got monday afternoon and a story came on the news that just kind of struck me odd. Apparently today metro police are doing a "gun drive" where you can take your guns to them in exchange for Dollar General gift cards. "No questions asked"
It has apparently been happening for two or three years with a partnership between DG and Metro Police.

Hey, if someone wants to trade their guns for gift cards, let them. Just don't be pissed when gun theft goes up. The government can't seem to get out of their own way 99% of the time.

I watched the same newscast. They also said they will have translators on site in case you have a gun and no speeka da engrish.
